KAMI provides container conversions/modifications for the offshore and wind industry
We can take care of the complete delivery from delivery of approved DNV GL 2.7-1 containers, to engineering, conversion, surface treatment and final inspection and certification via DNV GL.
KAMI has, among other things, been responsible for the construction and approval of containers for international assignments, and we have designed several different containers for many purposes – everything from housing to exercise rooms to securing equipment for the oil industry.

We can deliver your shipment with the correct certificate
We work with the issuance of Certificate for Offshore Container and Statement of Conformity for Lifting Frame via DNV GL, and in addition, we also work with CSC Safety Approval approval (Container Safety Convention).
We design, rebuild and obtain approval according to DNV GL standards 2.7-1, 2.7-2 and 2.7-3. In addition, we work according to the Norsok standards, so we know what is required in terms of quality for the containers to be approved after modification – and meet the specified requirements.
Engineering
If desired, KAMI can carry out construction work based on a specification, and we can provide sparring / expertise in relation to the conversions we have already done. KAMI has carried out projects where the customer has come up with an idea – and based on this, KAMI has designed and planned the conversion, and finally secured approval via, for example, DNV GL.

Quality documentation
We can handle design, manufacturing and approval, and KAMI has its own welding coordinator. Depending on requirements, a Manufacturing Record Book (MRB) can be created so you receive the full documentation package after delivery and issuance of certificates.
KAMI is issued certificates based on DNV GL standards (Certificate for Offshore Container) and CSC Safety Approval (Container Safety Convention).
We also design and manufacture according to the DNV GL 2.7-3 standard so we can ensure that you as a customer are issued a Design Verification Report and a final Certificate for Portable Offshore Unit via KAMI.
KAMI is DS/EN ISO 9001:2015 certified and in addition we are certified to perform welding according to EN ISO 3834-2. We are therefore ready to make your rebuild/new build to meet the requirements and get final approval from the classification society.
Manufacturing in many materials
We manufacture in black steel, stainless steel, high-strength steel and aluminum, so we have many options to handle the desired conversion/modification according to a customer-specific solution.
We cut in-house and can therefore ensure traceability on all materials. We can weld according to WPS / WPQR, and we can prepare Welders Log and have NDT performed.
We have extensive experience in complying with classification society requirements when it comes to production, and we can handle all contact with third parties to ensure that the solution is ultimately approved.
Surface treatment
Surface treatment can be carried out according to DS/EN ISO12944-C5M, MOTS or Norsok standards, and all deliveries can be supplied with a measurement report if required. In addition, FROSIO reports can be created via external inspection so that the surface treatment is 100% documented.
