Platform for production environment
KAMI has delivered a complete platform, produced according to EN ISO 14122 and calculated according to EUROCODES
Our engineering department and production carried out this project.
We were given this assignment because we could handle the entire delivery, including preparing the complete production basis based on the customer’s proposal. In addition to producing a complete set of drawings, the steel structure/platform had to be calculated and produced, and the finished steel structure had to be declared. The customer provided a proposal/specification and GA/General Arrangement of the platform. Based on this information, we calculated the design based on the specified loads and optimized the platform for production. The final design was approved before production started, and then the steel structure was manufactured, surface treated and declared.
The platform is calculated based on relevant parts of EUROCODES and is produced and declared according to EN ISO 14122. After dialog and clarification with the customer, the platform is not produced after EN 1090, but do you want your production to comply with EN 1090 KAMI is certified to calculate and produce according to the relevant standards.
The platform is set up indoors and used in a factory production environment. Various dosing equipment is placed and mounted on the platform.

Construction
- KAMI’s engineering and production departments have jointly production-modeled the design based on the proposal/specification.
- Creation of a complete production basis
- FEM calculation of steel structure based on specified loads / EUROCODES
- Construction of steel structure / platform according to EN ISO 14122
- Preparation of documentation for the declaration of the steel structure.
Production
- KAMI’s production department has manufactured the steel structure/platform in black steel.
- Processes include cutting, bending, welding and test assembly.
- Coated according to stated specification.
Delivery
- The platform has been delivered to a customer in Denmark.
- An exciting project with FEA calculation, standards review and production.
