Maritime platform for ships, including walkways and container conversions
Our engineering and production departments have completed this project. A comprehensive project where, based on ideas from the customer, we handled the design work, FEM calculation and production of the steel parts, including the derrick, platform, walkways and rebuilding of containers.
KAMI has handled the steel contract, i.e. the steel part of the delivery. The platform is stationary with the help of heave compensation. See examples of heave compensation at www.google.dk. The technical management part is not carried out by KAMI. The steel assembly on board the ship is handled by KAMI.
The combined arrangement is used to drill offshore via a moon pool on a ship when conducting seabed surveys for the construction of new offshore wind farms, for example. See moon pool examples at www.google.dk. The containers are converted so that they can be used for relevant purposes related to the core process, which is the drilling function itself.
