In collaboration, KAMI’s engineering and production departments have carried out this project. The customer came up with the specification, which was that the platform had to have a 12-meter extension and be FEM-calculated. Based on the customer’s proposal, KAMI carried out the design work and FEM calculations, and the engineering department prepared the complete production basis. The platform is subsequently made of seawater-resistant aluminum EN AW-5754.<\/p>\n
The platform is fixed at one end and must be able to move at the other end, as that part is attached to a wave compensation system. The entire platform acts as a heave compensated gangway.
